The Bel Geddes Headpiece belongs to the Vivascarrión Streamline Moderne Collection, a line of artisan pieces inspired by one of the most fascinating design movements of the twentieth century.
Streamline Moderne emerged in the 1930s as a branch of Art Déco, with a clear leitmotif: aerodynamics as aesthetic. Curved forms, fluid lines and a sense of movement that the pieces convey even in stillness. A visual language popularised in industrial design by visionaries such as Norman Bel Geddes — the name that gives this headpiece its title.
The Bel Geddes translates that philosophy into artisan millinery. Its lines are clean, its silhouette rounded and its finish impeccable. No unnecessary embellishment.
